Standard Pilot Plants

Standard pilot plants are the best economic choice for pilot applications that require conventional filtration methods or ozonation, due to minimal engineering and programming costs.

Standard pilots are available for the following treatment processes.

Adsorption Pilot Module

Module consists of six constant rate adsorbers with individual flow control. Module has the ability to have all column screened or an individual strainer can be installed on a single adsorber. With manual valves, the unit can be reconfigured to backwash columns with an external backwash supply. Additionally, manual valves can be used to reconfigure the six columns into three lead-lag pairs. Each column operates using automatic PID flow control with column bed volumes being pulled from the totalized value from a magnetic flow control valve. Columns will go into an offline mode based on an operator set point of runtime, run volume, or headloss. Other features include superior on-board process diagnostics, automatic data logging of key parameters, secure remote monitoring and control over the internet, and email alarm notification.

Dissolved Air Floatation Pilot Module

Designed to meet the requirements of dissolved air floatation pilot applications, this standard module combines chambers for coagulant rapid mixing, windowed basins for flocculation, and dissolved air floatation. Also includes four separate flow-paced chemical injection systems.

Standard Pilot Module Enclosure

Enclosure consists of a galvanized tube frame with insulated panel walls. Enclosure includes a waterproof ¼ inch thick spray-on polyester floor coating and a 10’ working height inside the building, as well as an insulated floor, ceiling, and walls. Unit includes an entry/egress door, ventilation fan, wet location lighting, a power distribution panel, emergency lighting, a piping corridor recessed in the floor, remote access module mast, and combination heating/AC (2.5 tons of cooling/ 5KW heater) through a centralized HVAC system. The enclosure has space for up to 3 Intuitech pilot modules.
